How did you'll know that Mahesh Anand is no more?
We think he died on Thursday. His tiffinwalla was keeping the tiffin outside since 2 days and it wasn't picked up even when he came on Saturday. That's when the society called the cops (pauses).

Well, he was sitting on the bed and had collapsed. It was evident from the manner in which he had fallen on the bed, chest downwards.
Is it possible that Mahesh Anand committed suicide?
No.
Was he depressed?
Yes, because he had no work since 18 years.
He drank a lot...
Yes, he had a drinking problem.
Had you met him?
Only few times. He had come for my marriage too.
Is his Russian wife Laana still in Mumbai?
Very much. And she came on her own, not that we had to ask her to.
So, his 5th marriage to Laana hadn't hit the rocks?
Nope. Laana was coming to Mumbai once in 4 months.

At Mahesh's brother-in-law Kunal Dasgupta's house in Andheri. She is close to Mahesh's sister, Lata.
